Freestyle L.A. (update)

7,000 people came out to see 80s artists Stevie B (eh), Lisa Lisa (killed it), The Cover Girls, Expose, Debbie Deb & Shannon. My girl from Bones (Fox) Michaela Conlin was in the 3rd row. Topped my night in a nerd factor type way. You need to look up some Lisa Lisa stuff. Full Force on production was some good stuff.

Posted all the pics here (flashpoint grafix, baby):

Lord in a Box

I know I'm just repeating information at this point but dammit if Stones Throw ain't on the leading edge of cool. Here's the repeated info:
QUASIMOTO X KID ROBOT - FEBRUARY 19 - PRE-SALE AT STONES THROW NOW : Madlib's Quasimoto gets the Kid Robot treatment in yellow and blue. There will be fewer of these made than Kid Robot & Stones Throw's Madvillain figure from 2007 which sold out in a matter of hours.

The Impossible Project

In June 1998—despite it's sheer coolness and unique image quality—Polaroid decided to pull out of the analog market and jump to digital. Nearly 11 years later The Impossible Project took over an Ex-Polaroid plant in The Netherlands and their team is shooting for a 1-year time line to re-purpose the wheel that Polaroid made famous. Support them. They're cool.

Them's Junior Shoes: Pt.1

Junior has nearly a billion pairs of shoes. Ok maybe not a billion but he never told me exactly how many. We've made the deal that he's going to wear a different pair of shoes every day until he runs out—and I'm going to document the series. Wanna go kick for kick? No takers? I guess this is part 1 in a 15 week series.
